Welcome To Al Rayyan School
Headteacher’s reflection
Alhamdulillah, I am extremely grateful to Allah ta’ala to have this opportunity to be the Head teacher of this excellent Islamic school for the past 7 years.
AlRayyan stands out from the rest of its kind as we provide weekend Islamic teaching in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere where children feel comfortable and enjoy learning while forming close friendships. Each Saturday morning, my heart fills with joy, when I welcome children, all with shiny faces and a broad smile, happily waving to their teachers, greeting their friends and ready to do some more learning.
The students learn qaida/quran/hifdh by teachers well versed in Arabic and the curriculum is based on basic principles of Islam following the Holy Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Our main objective being to promote the Islamic values of peace and respect from an early age so when our young boys and girls leave AlRayyan, they make a healthy contribution to the wider community.
We have a purpose built building with our younger children being taught in separate Early Years building with fun filled, colourful classrooms while our older children use a separate block with larger class rooms more suited for their age and studies. AlRayyan also provides a large and safe playground and a huge playing field greatly popular amongst our students.
One of the great things about AlRayyan is the regular events- presentations and outings we do. We also do charity sales to raise funds for our brothers in need around the world. From time to time we arrange training workshops for our staff and parents. Our end of year picnic is our most popular event where all our students extended families, our school neighbours and Bagshot Infant school staff join us on a fine summer day full of fun, food and more fun.
In short, all the staff at AlRayyan work extremely hard throughout the year to make our children feel part of a big happy family and do lots of learning in a safe and cheerful environment.

Teacher’s and Parent's Quotes
‘’What I like about Al Rayyan? There are so many things to like, However what has kept me at the school for all these years is simply the staff, the children, their
parents & their families & wanting to serve our community in any way I can. We have a good family vibe in school & a genuine love for what we do. The staff do their best to educate the children according to the guidance of our holy Quran & the blessings of the sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW) I’m humbled and honoured to be part of Al Rayyan school. May Allah grant us his protection & grant success to all who attend & support the school. Ameen

Being, a Year 6 teacher for more than 5 year at Al-Rayyan is an honour and privilege As an Year 6 teacher, I received students , most of whom were with Al-Rayyan since early Yeara right to my class.I could see how these children
progressed so well with their Quran reading and Islamic knowledge according to the Sunnah and Hadith of our beloved prophet, Muhammad s.a.w. I am full of admiration, respect, and appreciation for all the hard work, dedication and commitment from all the teachers. And I am so impressed to see the students working hard and their thirst to learn Quran and gain the Islamic knowledge. It gives me a sense of how important it is to have Al-Rayyan as a learning hub to impart the Islamic values to the children in our community. This is why, I love to teach at Al-Rayyan, to work together with other teachers, staffs and governors as well as the parents, directly or indirectly to achieve this and this is purely from Allah’s blessings.
